Japanese B1 Level: The Gateway to Intermediate
This course is a program aligned with the B1 Level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

The B1 level marks the beginning of "Intermediate" Japanese, focusing on the ability to use the language independently in daily life. Upon completing this level, you will achieve the following competencies:

1. Listening & Reading (Input)
You can understand the main points of clear, standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.

You can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where Japanese is spoken.

2. Speaking & Writing (Output)
You can produce simple, connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.

You can describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions.

You can briefly give reasons and explanations for your opinions and plans.

At this level, we will practice expressing your feelings in more detail by using the grammar you have studied, such as "Frequency" (itsumo, yoku) and "Extent" (totemo, amari).
